CELEBRATING 25 FOLLOWERS
It seems like yesterday when I started this blog. Since then I have made many blogging friends with whom I share the passion of the arts and sometimes also a wonderful online friendship. Your comments encourage me and allow me to grow as an artist.
So I wanted to say THANK YOU!!!for being here with me!So, I am doing a giveaway....a little of this, a little of that, fiber fun. I don't ask that you post it on your blog, (too much work), but if your friends comment on my blog (and you tell me who they are), I will put in a second entry for you!( winner will be chosen by Random Number Generator on May 30...
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND INSPIRATION!!!
Love,
GABRIELA

FELTING IN BRASIL
I thought I would share with you some of what I did in Brasil. I brought a bunch of wool roving to show my nephews Gedan and Dash and my sister Daniela how to do that. The kids loved making little creatures and mys ister did a felted piece as I did. My Dad who is an artist( paintings) could not resist the idea of this new material and technique and spent days and days making his own wallhanging. He did a superb job and I will be entering it in a local show!.

I AM BACK!
Hi everyone...as you know I was away for one month to visit family and friends in Uruguay and Brasil...It was a fantastic trip, very emotional and very creative for me. I will try to post as much as I can....and of course I owe all the felting friends my second phase of the felted piece which I am hoping to enter at a local WOOLFEST this June...
This little embroidery work from CrabAppleHill I made for my sister. I had no idea that you were suppossed to use crans inside to color, so I colored it in with thread! She had a pillow made of it....It was fun to do...
