ONE WORLD ONE HEART BEGINS!
One World One Heart is a worldwide event for bloggers only created by the talented Lisa . It gives all those who blog a chance to meet and mingle and form connections with those they may not have otherwise met from all over the world. In the past 4 years this event has grown to over 1,000 participants with lasting friendships (and even one love connection) formed along the way.
This is possibly the last year, so I hope you will all participate in honor and thanks for Lisa's monumental work putting this together!
THANKS LISA!!!!
A little about me:
I was born in Uruguay, South America. I now live in Ohio, USA.The world of textile arts was introduced to me by my mother and my aunts when I was a child by learning how to knit and crochet. My father gave me the gift of color!
I love meeting new people and sharing ideas...
My gifts to share are this little heart.., a beautiful pinkeeper and a Sue Spargo pattern....
Here's a better picture of the heart....

A FELTED CLUTCH
You may remember that while I w as in Brasil, I taught my sister and my Dad how to wet felt. I made a piece myself and I decided the other day it was time to make something with it!
So here's what I came up with...A clutch to just take the really needed things when I go to certain places instead of my standard' suitcase'!I found the button in a second hand store a while back and I thought it was the perfect touch for it!

MAKING THE PATTERN
Well, I am still waiting for my draft paper to arrive...I went from store to store trying to find some, bought the wrong kind online, and so still I do not have the beautiful drafting paper to finalize my pattern. I hate having a patterns that I have to go and blow up at Kinko's so I am determined to do mine actual size. I may be sorry about it later but right now that's what I am aiming for!
I finished the 'writing' part of the pattern, which is harder to do than one thinks! Every details is important and research has to be done again and again. I do not know how most designers develop their patterns, but for me, there's a bit of doing as you go, and I change things as I go, and so the colors and shapes and materials change accordingly. So the I have to go back and re do templates, etc. However, it is fun to do and again a step that makes it so 'official'.
Again, thanks to everyone for your lovely comments as they are the force that propels me to keep going!
