What I have been working on....

A quilt for my niece's daughter Lillia.....She wanted a quilt representing her name so this is what I came up with!

I forgot to share a little necklace I made for my friend Marcia as a thank you  when I was in Brasil for teaching me wonderful origami!

I am also participating in my my fellow blogger friend Vicki's special  project: The pink scarf project and just finished this first scarf

Please check out her beautiful blog by clicking on the Pink Scarf project link on this page. Or go to
http://vicki-2bagsfull.blogspot.com/ .

Also we are working on the GROW YOUR BLOG PARTY ( follow the  the link at the top)....it will be lots of fun........!!!!

Out of necessity.....well my kids gave me a kinfle fire hd for Christmas which I could not decide to get myself(lol) mostly becasue I am so used to reading books the old fashioned way....well while I will still treasure my paper books, I can only say I love the kindle!
So of course I had to make a cover for it! I followed the directions here http://whipstitchfabrics.com/blog/kindle-cover-tutorial/ and this is what I came up with! I will be making a second one as this one did not quite measure up( a little too small on the front cover) but it works great !!!
